In New Orleans, there are enough weekend brunch options to hold you over for a lifetime, so let's just turn our attention to the newest and hottest of the bunch. This freshly updated Brunch Heatmapboasts the brunches that everybody's talking about right now.
Coming off the map this month, Blue Line Sandwich departs to make way for Warehouse District hotspot Compere Lapin. Also a brunch reminder: Palace Cafe—which is displaced at the moment for a quick renovation—is also popping up with a jazz brunch insideBourbon House every Saturday and Sunday from now until the end of October.
This new cafe and bakery from Besh Group pastry chefs Lisa White and Kelly Fields is more than just a croissant-lovers paradise. A hearty brunch menu features tons of options both healthy and decadent: avocado toast, crab and corn fritters, a stack of pancakes, biscuits & gravy and more. An Intelligentsia coffee program and bad ass coffee cocktails round out the experience. Of course you can always get pastries to take home as well.
